About the event
The Problem
People all around the world are unaware of many environmental issues, which leads them to believe propaganda and incorrect information. This unawareness also results in a disregard for the environment. Environment literacy and awareness are important as they enable people to think about their impact on the environment. It also helps people find easy solutions in their communities.
The Solution
Social media is a powerful tool. We can teach people around us by posting, chatting and tweeting about environmental problems.
The Method
- Find a post from our gallery to share.
- Upload to a social media platform, if you're above the age of 13, or share it with friends and family.
- Use the hashtag #SpreadToSave and #TheEcoClubUnited so we can find your post.
- Watch as people begin to become aware of these problems, and begin working toward the solutions.
- Send us some of your own #SpreadToSave fact-pics to upload to our public gallery (optional)
