The Problem
Bursting firecrackers on Diwali has become a 'tradition', but a harmful one that has caused a lot of air pollution, respiratory problems and deaths (especially of animals).
The Solution
Say NO to these dangerous and harmful explosives, and choose to have a safe, eco-friendly, really traditional Diwali!
The Method
- Sign up for this campaign so we know that you stand against crackers!
- Say NO to crackers! Refuse to burst crackers this Diwali.
- Teach and convince your family and friends to do the same.
- Make a petition to refuse cracker-bursting for the people of your neighbourhood and see how many signatures you can get.
- Light diyas (oil lamps), get together with your family and have a blast - without firecrackers!
